The Tesla Wall Connector is a Level 2 charger purpose-built for Tesla vehicles. Tesla states it can add up to approximately 44 miles of range per hour, though actual results vary by vehicle model and configuration. A standard Level 1 household outlet delivers roughly 3 miles of range per hour, which isn’t a realistic daily charging solution for most drivers.
The Wall Connector is rated for both indoor and outdoor installation and carries a weatherproof rating suited to San Antonio’s climate. It connects to Wi-Fi and integrates with the Tesla mobile app, letting owners schedule charging sessions, monitor progress, and set charging limits remotely.
